HOW MEDICAL TATTOOING CAN SUPPORT BURN SURVIVORS THROUGHOUT THEIR JOURNEY OF RECOVERY.

A burn is a type of injury to the skin, or other tissues, caused by heat, electricity, chemicals, friction, or radiation. Burns that affect only the superficial skin layers are known as superficial or first-degree burns. When the injury extends into some of the underlying layers, it is described as a partial-thickness or second-degree burn. In a full-thickness or third-degree burn, the injury extends to all layers of the skin. A fourth-degree burn additionally involves injury to deeper tissues, such as muscle, tendons, or bone.

AVOIDING  THE TRAPS

“TO COPY NATURE AS CLOSELY AS POSSIBLE.”

What makes her work stand out  to such a large extent from other internationally renowned linergists? The answer is simple – her motto is to copy nature as closely as possible. Looking for the best ways to recreate the shape of nipples perfectly, she has always paid special attention to colours. The shades she uses suit her patients as if they were made for them only. Sylwia admits spending a lot of time choosing the shape and position of nipples and gives careful attention to other details also. The final result, however, is well worth the effort. Hundreds of hours spent drawing helped her devise her original technique called “AmazINK areola”.
